MoldFixer helps connect homeowners and property managers with independent, third-party contractors who provide water damage restoration, fire & smoke cleanup, and mold assessment/remediation. MoldFixer does not provide contracting services and does not supervise, manage, or control the work performed by any contractor. Any agreement for services is strictly between you and the contractor you choose.

2) Contractor Verification

You are solely responsible for verifying the contractor's current license, insurance, certifications (e.g., IICRC), references, and compliance with applicable laws and codes. Ask for documentation before work begins and retain copies for your records.

3) Availability & Service Area

Availability, response times, and specific methods can vary by ZIP code, provider, and job conditions. Same-day or 24/7 service is not guaranteed and depends on local team capacity and scheduling.

4) No Warranties or Guarantees

MoldFixer makes no warranties, endorsements, or guarantees — express or implied — regarding contractor qualifications, pricing, workmanship, timeliness, permits, clearances, or outcomes. All representations and warranties, if any, are provided solely by the contractor in your written agreement with them.

5) Insurance & Claims

Insurance coverage varies by policy and carrier. References to potential coverage, documentation, or claim assistance are for general information only and do not constitute a promise of coverage or payment. Consult your insurer for eligibility, deductibles, limits, and required documentation.

6) Actors/Models Notice
